The shoot I’m talking about in this post is about 2 months old now.
Mid November came and I was wanting to do a few more ‘fashion’ style shoots. Lauren has a great look and energy, and was willing to work with me again, so we decided to shoot at the Adamson Estate. Now, the Adamson Estate is a property around Port Credit with these old historical buildings, but it also has forest walking paths, it’s lakefront, and it has an old barn – so it pretty well has anything you could want in a shoot. The biggest deterrent is simply that it’s busy, and you need a permit to photograph on the property on weekends. This is a HUGELY common place to do wedding/engagement photos in the GTA. Luckily for us, we were shooting on a Tuesday

But, man was it COLD!! Because it’s right on Lake Ontario, the wind was bitter. Poor Lauren did great with it, though…. She did have a coat with her, but didn’t want photos in it, and braved the elements for the whole shoot

My favorite building on the estate is the barn, but a close second is the back of the main building, where everything is in white, and they have these lovely white stairs that you can do so much with! There’s also a cute, ornate mini-balcony that you need permission to get to – I’ve never gotten to use it, but I would jump at the chance
After the Adamson Estate, we also made a quick stop at the Rhododendron Gardens.

Even though it was chilly, we got some great shots and I was pleased with the outcome overall
Until next time!
